Pick up from your hotel at 07:00am for the city tour. It starts with visit to Uganda national mosque (Gaddafi mosque) built in 2006 and officially opened in 2007, this largest mosque in the country was commissioned by the late Colonel Muammar Gaddafi as a gift to Uganda. From the national mosque you head to Kabala’s lake-the largest excavated lake in Africa dug out in 1880 as an escape corridor to Lake Victoria before a visit to Saint Mary’s Cathedral commonly referred to as Rubaga Cathedral the oldest Roman Catholic diocese in Uganda.
After the cathedral you head to Buganda kingdom’s parliamentary building (Bulange) before the Kasubi Tombs where Buganda kingdom kings (kabaka) are buried and to know more about Buganda kingdom before going to the national museum to summarise the history of Uganda as a country .Well informed of Uganda’s rich culture, you leave for Bahai Temple and then Uganda Martyrs shrine before ending your day with entertainment at Ndere cultural centre. This trip can be modified to fit your special areas of interest.
