UGANDA, The Pearl of Africa
Aptly named by Sir Winston Churchill, Uganda is trully a home away from home for any visitor. The rich cultural background and reputation as "Africa's friendliest country", fine parks and wildlife, an attractive country-side with tremendous mountain rages, lakes, rivers and waterfalls; Uganda has such a wealth of attractions that a single visit to this wonderful country will not be enough to discover all of the many unique tourism locations that it has to offer.
Across the pearl is a network of 10 national parks and several other protected areas offering wildlife fans a thrilling opportunity to experience Uganda’s rich biodiversity? Not only the fascinating tracts of thorn bush savannah teeming with the Big 5 usually linked with equatorial East Africa, but also abundant expanses of tropical rainforest, fertile valleys, and the towering snow-capped peaks of Africa’s tallest mountain range.
