Coming to Uganda? Here are a few things you might need to know.

Clothing:Lightweight casual clothes can be worn all year round, with a jacket or jersey for early winter mornings and evenings. On safari keep clothes to a minimum and mostly of neutral colouring - khakis, browns and greens. A sunhat, sunglasses, sunscreen and insect repellant are a must.

Visa Requirements: A visa is a clearance permitting an individual to proceed to visit another country. Ugandan visas are issued at our Missions/Embassies abroad and also at the Entry/Exit Points e.g. Entebbe, Busia, Malaba etc....

Countries Exempted from Visa requirements: Angola, Antigua, Comoros, Bahamas, Eritrea, Barbados, Belize, Kenya, Fiji, Malawi, Mauritius, Gambia, Madagascar, Grenada, Jamaica, Rwanda, Seychelles, Lesotho, Swaziland, Malta, Tanzania, Sierra Leone, Zambia, Singapore, Zimbabwe, Solomon Islands, St. Vincent, Tonga, Vanuatu, Italy (only Diplomatic Passports), Cyprus

Credit Cards: Most hotels, restaurants, travel agencies and the bigger shops will take credit cards. Most of the bigger banks will advance local currency against a credit card. The most commonly accepted credit cards are, VISA, MASTER CARD, DINNER'S & AMERICAN EXPRESS.
